FORT GREENE — A man was caught on video dashing down a street after stealing a woman's wallet in Fort Greene, police said.
The 27-year-old victim was near the corner of South Portland and Lafayette avenues just before 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 21 when the suspect approached her and swiped her wallet, police said.
The man then fled on foot northbound on South Portland Avenue, police said.
The woman was not hurt during the incident, the NYPD said.
The suspect was last seen wearing black shorts, a black T-shirt and white sneakers.
