FORT GREENE — The Brooklyn Flea is returning to Fort Greene this winter.
The popular flea market will join Smorgasburg at 1 Hanson Place, the landmarked site of the former Williamsburgh Savings Bank Tower, starting in November, an announcement on the market’s website says.
The Winter Flea will be open Saturdays and Sundays from Nov. 5 through March 26 at Skylight One Hanson, which hosted the Flea’s indoor winter market until 2012.
This year’s market will feature 100 vendors, with 75 vintage and craft vendors setting up shop under the building’s 63-foot vaulted ceiling and stained glass windows in the main hall and mezzanine.
Twenty-five Smorgasburg food vendors will operate on the building’s lower level, near the old bank vault.
This year’s Winter Flea could also feature two separate bars that would serve beer, wine and cider, pending approval of a liquor license, a Brooklyn Flea spokeswoman said.
The rotating lineup of craft beer and cider will feature Smorgasbeer, a pilsner brewed exclusively for Smorgasburg, along with a few seasonal beers, local ciders, and red and white wine.
