DUMBO — They're putting the shot in espresso.

Australian-themed coffee shop Bluestone Lane recently opened its first Brooklyn outpost at 55 Prospect St., marking the java joint's first location to feature a fully licensed bar.

The coffee chain, which has 11 other locations in New York City, Long Island and Philadelphia, is inspired by the “renowned coffee culture hub of Melbourne, Australia,” according to its website.

It opened on Aug. 16 on the DUMBO Heights campus, joining tech companies like Etsy, Frog Design and WeWork.

The drink menu features coffee made with organic fair trade beans from Australia, cold-pressed juices, teas and the new Golden Latte, made with almond milk, herbs and turmeric.

Signature cocktails include the Orange is the New Black (espresso, chocolate-orange ganache, Maker’s Mark and steamed milk) and the Honey I’m Home (cold brew, chocolate bitters, whiskey, honey, vanilla bean and coffee liqueur).

There’s also a full beer and wine list, featuring Australian and domestic options.

Bluestone Lane’s coffee is brewed in a variety of methods, including espresso, a slow drip coffee that’s brewed over 9 hours, cold brew and air-pressed coffee.

The all-day food menu features seasonal, healthy dishes like the Avocado Smash  (toasted bread covered in smashed avocado, feta cheese, tahini, tomatoes and a poached egg), the Breakfast Bowl (scrambled eggs, quinoa, warm kale, tomatoes and avocado smash) muesli, and bacon egg roll.

Lunch options include grain bowls and sandwiches like the Pea and Broad Bean Smash and a spiced Dukkah Squash Smash.

Bluestone Lane will host “Locals Hour” from Thursday to Sunday, offering drink specials and a curated snack menu that will include a charcuterie board and Aussie sausage rolls.

Locals Hour will likely be held from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., though it hasn't yet launched at the new location, employee Tim Holdsworth said.

Prices range from $2.75 to $5 for coffee, while espresso-based cocktails are $10, and bellinis and Bloody Mary’s are priced at $12.

Food ranged from $8 for the avocado toast to $14 for the grain bowls, but prices vary with add-ons like smoked salmon, crispy bacon and poached eggs.

The location boasts Bluestone Lane’s Melbourne-inspired aesthetic with details including a white Carrera marble bar, brass trimmings on white oak, polished concrete flooring and sea foam green tiles.

The DUMBO coffee shop, which features flexible furniture arrangements and a multimedia system, was designed to host a range of private events.

Bluestone Lane is open every day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
