You've tried your hardest to put on a brave face in this sizzling hot weather.

Maybe you bought yourself a colossal ice cream sandwich from The Good Batch at Smorasburg and tried rolled ice cream for the first time ever in Chinatown. Maybe you took the subway all the way out to Fort Tilden in the Rockaways to dunk yourself in the Atlantic Ocean and check out Katharina Grosse's new art installation. Maybe you've seen all of the summer blockbuster films, even with tickets at $14 a pop, and you've gone swimming at the local public pool even though it was so crowded you could barely move.

We applaud you. But we also know you're dying to complain about just how awful this weather is. Temperatures in the 90s are expected to persist until the weekend, when a storm coming from the south will bring rain and some relief from the heat, according to Accuweather.
