DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN — A 24-year-old man was walking home Friday night when three men attacked him with a bat while yelling anti-gay slurs, police said.

The victim was walking on the sidewalk in front of 376 Fulton St. at 10 p.m. on May 6 when the men hit him with a wooden bat and a wooden stick, according to the NYPD.

As the men were attacking him, they told the man, “Homo like you don’t belong here” and called him a “f----t,” according to a police report.

The victim was able to escape his attackers and run to a cab, according to police. He wasn’t able to see in which direction the suspects took off.

The victim sustained bruising to his right hip and left shoulder, according to police.

Other notable crimes from the 84th and 88th precincts include:

► An irate former employee walked into the Pillow Cafe-Lounge at 505 Myrtle Ave. on April 30 at 7:25 p.m. and hit a 49-year-old employee in the face several times with a cell phone.

► A man entered a home at 291 Pacific St. sometime between 9:15 and 9:40 a.m. on May 5 and took a jar containing $50 from a baby’s room.

► A man took $225 from the HSBC Bank at 122 Flatbush Ave. around 2 p.m. on May 6 after he passed the teller a note saying, “top and bottom draw gun on me, no dye packs, no alarms, pass note back, not alone, 5 big bills.” The suspect fled in an unknown direction after the teller gave him a dye pack, which causes an explosion of dye after being taken out of the bank.
