DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN — Police are looking for a man who they say groped a woman after falling onto her on a Downtown Brooklyn A train.
The 23-year-old woman was riding the train at the Hoyt-Schermerhorn station at 6 p.m. on April 13 when the train jerked suddenly and the man fell on top of her, according to the NYPD.
The man grabbed onto her waist and thigh, and when she tried to move away, he grabbed her tighter to prevent her from getting up, police said.
The victim was able to snap a photo of the suspect afterwards, police said.
Officials did not know at which station the suspect left the train.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
