VINEGAR HILL — A 15-year-old boy was shot twice in broad daylight outside the Farragut Houses, police said.

A man shot the teen, striking him once in the left leg and once in the right leg, just after 5 p.m. Friday in front of 234 Sands St., according to authorities.

A surveillance photo released by the NYPD shows the suspect pointing a black handgun at a target off screen. 

The suspect fled and the victim was taken to Methodist Hospital in stable condition, police said.

Police said the suspect was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, a black hooded sweatshirt and blue sweatpants with white stripes.
