Man Punched Woman in Face and Stole $500 in Clinton Hill, Police Say

CLINTON HILL — Police are looking for a man they say punched a woman in the face then stole $500 from her in Clinton Hill.

The man walked up to the 35-year-old victim at 7 p.m. on Feb. 21 near Classon and Lafayette avenues, according to the NYPD.

Police said he punched her in the face then demanded her property. 

The woman handed over $500, police said.

The victim, who sustained pain and bruising to her face, refused medical attention, the NYPD said. 

Police released a photo of the unidentified suspect, who they say is in his 30s.
