DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN — A man who stole a 19-year-old’s cellphone on a 2 train last week threatened the teen with a steak knife when he followed him out of the subway station, police said.

The teen was looking at pictures on his iPhone 6s on the southbound 2 train when it stopped at Nevins Street at 11 a.m. on Feb. 16, according to the NYPD.

As the train’s doors were opening, the suspect grabbed his phone and ran off the train, police said.

The teen followed the man out of the station and found him waiting for the bus at a B45/B67 stop at Livingston and Nevins streets, police said.

When  the victim asked for his phone back, the suspect whipped a steak knife out of his pocket and said, “Look,” before taking off, police said.

No arrests have been made.

Other notable crimes from the 84th and 88th precincts, according to police, include:

► An angry driver shot a 39-year-old man in the groin after the two got into a fight on Feb. 20 just before 10 a.m. on Fulton Street, near Washington Avenue, police said.

► A 45-year-old hospital patient picked up an EKG machine and threw it at a 42-year-old emergency room nurse at the Brooklyn Hospital Center at 121 Dekalb Ave. at 3:15 a.m. on Feb. 21. The woman was arrested and charged with harassment, assault, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon. Her attorney was not immediately available for comment.

► Four suspects demanded money and other property from four teens who were walking down Brooklyn Bridge Park’s Pier 2 at 7 p.m. on Feb. 20, police said. The suspects, one of which had a gun in his pocket, threatened the teens to stay in the park or they would get hurt.

► A 25-year-old man was walking west on Dekalb Avenue with his girlfriend at 3 p.m. on Feb. 21 when a stranger attacked him by knocking him to the ground, punching him in the face and stabbing him in the left leg. The suspect fled and the victim was treated at Interfaith Hospital, police said.
