FORT GREENE — Eat your hearts out, bibliophiles.

The Eat, Drink & Be Literary series is coming back to the Brooklyn Academy of Music for its 12th season Tuesday.

The series, presented in partnership with the National Book Foundation, gives writers and readers a chance to dine with eight award-winning authors through June.

Celebrated authors including Marlon James, Eileen Myles, Zadie Smith and Sally Mann will talk about themes of race, family and sexuality over dinner, drinks and live music at BAMCafe. They’ll read from their work and share their creative processes during a moderated discussion.

Audience members will get the chance to ask questions and socialize with other members of the literary community.

Each discussion will be followed by a book-signing session, with books available for purchase at BAM’s Greenlight Bookstore kiosk.

The seasonal menu, curated by Manhattan catering company Great Performances, will include dinner, dessert and wine by James Beard award winners and local Brooklyn chefs.

Tickets are $60 for individual readings, or $51 each for a subscription to attend four or more readings. Some discussions are already sold out, but standby tickets could become available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Doors open at 6 p.m. for each author.

To buy tickets, call BAM Ticket Services at 718-636-4100 or go to BAM.org.
