Man Charged in Shooting Death of Clinton Hill Resident 6 Years Later

CLINTON HILL — Police have arrested a Manhattan man in connection with the 2009 shooting death of a Clinton Hill resident on Long Island.

Daniel Greenspan, 28, was charged with second-degree murder in the death of 32-year-old Michael Sinclair, according to Suffolk County police.

Sinclair, who lived on Willoughby Avenue in Clinton Hill, was found lying in front of 110 Kellum St. in West Babylon suffering from multiple gunshot wounds at 4:10 a.m. on Jan. 31, 2009, police said.

He was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital where he died. 

Greenspan, of East 20th Street, was arrested near his home Sunday morning, police said.

He was due in Suffolk County District Court on Monday. Attorney information for Greenspan was not immediately available.

Police have not said what circumstances led to the shooting.
