Grilled cheese specialists from the Crown Heights-based eatery Morris have set up a faux food truck at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum, serving sandwiches, soups, salads and snacks Tuesday through Sunday, the museum announced. Take the kids to get some killer lunch while you visit -- or go solo for the food itself!

This new, retro-glam bar focuses on their take on classic cocktails, each priced at $15. The owners also run fancy cocktail bar Raines Law Room and Dear Irving. Along with expertly crafted drinks, you’ll find a menu of upscale bar food, like the $17 Bennet Burger, made with wagyu beef and classic fixings: ketchup, pickles, and a potato roll.

A self-described “neighborhood joint” by the executive chef of Chicago’s swanky, Michelin-starred “it’s not a restaurant, it’s an experience” Alinea, Quality Eats is specializing in “approachable and affordable” steak dishes. Non-steak elements include allowing diners to pick out three different bottles of wines to fill glass containers that stack to form a wine bottle, and plates and a bartop that are meant to be “graffiti’d” with crayons the color of steak temperatures.
Addictive Wine & Tapas, 32-63 87th St., East Elmhurst

The owners of the Addictive Boutique Winery have expanded again, this time to open a coffee shop and wine bar across the street. The space feels like you’re inside a wine barrel, hand-designed by co-owner Francisco Diaz with wood sourced from around the globe. In the morning they serve coffee by Devocion, which ships coffee within 10 days of being sourced in Colombia. The pastries are brought in from Ceci-Cella in Nolita, and include ham and cheese croissants and muffins. After a brief afternoon break they turn over to the wine and tapas bar, featuring food from Despana around the corner.
Rove, 72-27 Austin St., Forest Hills

Try this new cozy restaurant and bar on Austin Street, run by the owners of nearby wine bar Jack & Nellie’s. Rove, which opened earlier this month, serves new American cuisine, including a variety of comfort foods. Among the most popular items on the menu are pork buns, filet mignon bruschetta and crusted chicken with grilled zucchini and carrot mashed potatoes. The eatery also offers local craft beers, wines and gins.
