EAST ELMHURST — Addictive Wine and Tapas, an offshoot of the popular wine shop across 87th Street, is ready to start brewing coffee and serving tapas this Saturday.
Owners Francisco Diaz and Patrick Duong have completed renovations on their new coffee shop and bar, which they first announced in August.
They'll open 7 a.m on Saturday with breakfast specialties, including coffee from Devoción, which FedExs fresh beans from Colombia within ten days of them being picked.
The tea is from Tea Pigs, a British company that offers a variety of flavors.
Pastries are brought in daily from Ceci-Cella in Nolita and, after a siesta, the shop will serve a tapas menu in the afternoon with selections from Despaña around the corner.
The owners hope to start serving wine and beer at a later date.
