PROSPECT-LEFFERTS GARDENS — Police are looking for three teenagers who stole food from a Halal restaurant, and then assaulted a worker who tried to stop them.

The three teens — two boys and one girl, all approximately 16 years old — walked into the Halal West Indian restaurant at 621 Flatbush Ave. at the corner of Fenimore Street around 4:20 p.m. on Nov. 13, police said.

The group began taking food from the eatery and when a 54-year-old worker tried to stop them, the teens began punching him. The young people continued attacking the man outside of the restaurant and then ran, according to the NYPD.

The worked was not seriously injured in the assault. The suspects have yet to be identified, police said.
