MANHATTAN — A police officer suffered a minor arm injury after he was struck by a car fleeing a traffic stop on the Manhattan Bridge Thursday night, the NYPD said.

The officer, who's assigned to the 5th Precinct, stopped a black BMW on the Brooklyn-bound side of the bridge at 10:40 p.m., police said.

When the officer got out and approached the BMW, the driver sped away and hit him in the arm with the vehicle's mirror, police said.

The officer was taken to Bellevue Hospital and released, police said.

The driver fled into Brooklyn and no arrests had been made as of Friday morning, police said.
