BROOKLYN — A thief stole a 20-year-old woman's wallet at the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center subway station earlier this month and then went on to use her credit card, police said.

The victim walked into the subway station through the Pacific Street entrance around 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 1. She used her Metrocard to pass through the turnstile, but realized that her wallet was missing from her bag when she was waiting on the southbound R train platform, police said.

A suspect was later caught on surveillance camera using the victim's credit card at a Walgreens pharmacy on Avenue J in Midwood, according to the NYPD.

Police described the suspect as having short black hair. At the time she is suspected of using the stolen credit card, she was wearing a white T-shirt and light blue jeans, police said.
