CROWN HEIGHTS — A group of seven teens, all between the ages of 13 and 15, were arrested last week for attacking and robbing a 29-year-old man in the neighborhood, police said.

The man was walking alone on Carroll Street and Rogers Avenue around 8:30 p.m. on August 12, police said, when the seven kids — all boys — came up to him, punched him multiple times and took his cellphone.

Officers nearby nabbed the boys before they could make a run for it, police said. All seven were taken into custody and will be charged as juveniles.

Several of those arrested have been suspected in similar theft-related crimes in Brooklyn, sources said. The leader of the group, a 15-year-old boy from Bensonhurst, was arrested last year for stealing a credit card from his mother.

Other notable crimes in this week’s blotter from the 71st Precinct in Crown Heights and Prospect-Lefferts Gardens include:

► A 74-year-old woman scared off a would-be robber when the man broke into her apartment at 426 Eastern Parkway around 10:40 a.m. on August 12. When the woman saw the man come through her door, she screamed and he ran out of the building.

► A 16-year-old was arrested for riding a stolen Citi Bike on August 14. Police said the teen was stopped for riding the bicycle on the sidewalk around 3:40 p.m. on Fenimore Street and Nostrand Avenue and was subsequently arrested when the bike was found to have been stolen, according to the bike share company’s records.

► A man was arrested for slashing his friend multiple times with a sharp object inside 1711 President St. around 11 p.m. on August 15. Police said Jerome Blacks, 57, cut the 54-year-old victim in the head, chest and back after an argument. Blacks has been charged with assault, menacing and harassment, among other charges, and is in custody on $10,000 cash bail or bond, court records show.

► Two suspects forcibly removed a 21-year-old man from the car he had been sitting in and stole the vehicle at 3 p.m. on August 16, police said. The man was in the passenger seat of the grey 2015 Nissan Altima, parked at Union Street and Nostrand Avenue, when two people walked up to him, pulled him out of the car, punched him in the chest and threw him to the ground, then drove off with the car. They also stole a scooter, sweater, book bag and iPhone that had been in the car. It’s unclear if the car belonged to the 21-year-old or someone else.

► Three unknown males in a passing white Jeep Cherokee SUV threw a glass bottle at a 33-year-old man as he walked along Winthrop Street near Albany Avenue at 7:10 p.m. on August 17. The man suffered lacerations to the face, but was not hospitalized. He told police he did not know the men who threw the bottle at him.
