MIDTOWN EAST— The 24-year-old woman who was pinned against a lamppost by a car that hopped the curb on East 49th Street died from her injuries over the weekend, NYPD said.

The victim, Mallory Weisbrod, of Murray Hill, was one of three pedestrians who were struck by a 2004 Mercedes-Benz that mounted the curb on the southwest corner of East 49th Street and Second Avenue just before 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 10, police said.

Weisbrod was transported to Bellevue Hospital in critical condition, and died six days later.

The driver, a 64-year-old man, and a 23-year-old female pedestrian were transported to Bellevue Hospital and were expected to survive. A 21-year-old woman, who was also struck, refused medical attention.

No arrests were made as of Tuesday afternoon, and the incident still under investigation, according to police.
