CROWN HEIGHTS — He was shaken down for some sandwiches and a side of cash.

A 44-year-old man was robbed at knife point in the neighborhood this week by a man who forced his victim to buy him two sandwiches, then ordered him to drain his bank account at a nearby ATM.

The robbery took place around 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 10 as the victim was walking towards the Prospect Park train station. Along the way, the suspect threatened the man with a knife, forcing him to walk to the Associated supermarket on Franklin Avenue near Carroll Street.

The robber made the 44-year-old buy him two sandwiches at the grocery store before the pair went to a nearby cash machine. There, the suspect forced the man to enter his PIN code and take out everything he had.

The suspect made off with the two sandwiches and $137.

Other notable crimes in this week’s blotter from the 71st Precinct in Crown Heights and Prospect-Lefferts Gardens include:

► A 35-year-old livery cab driver had his car stolen on August 5 when he parked the 2007 white Lincoln Town Car outside of Metro PCS at 1034 Nostrand Ave. around 4:15 p.m. He went inside the store, put his keys down on the counter and then noticed they were missing a few minutes later. When he went outside to check on the car, he saw someone driving away with it. He never saw the suspect and no arrests have been made, police said.

► Two men were arrested after police officers found a handgun in their car during a traffic stop.

The pair, ages 22 and 24, were driving in an Infiniti sedan at the corner of Union Street and Bedford Avenue at 2:20 p.m. on August 7 when they failed to signal during a turn, police said. Officers stopped the car for the violation and, upon further investigation, found a .45 caliber Hi-Point handgun with the serial number scratched off in the vehicle.

Both men were arrested at the scene and have been charged with criminal possession of a weapon, among other charges, according to court records.

► A 27-year-old man was walking home on Clarkson Avenue near Rogers Avenue at 5 a.m. on August 8 when four males jumped on him and began punching and kicking him. He told police the crew took his Samsung S5 cell phone, $200 in cash, a chain necklace and his wallet. The group fled on foot.

► A 24-year-old man was walking home from a deli on Nostrand Avenue and Carroll Street at 2:30 a.m. on August 9 when two young men approached him from behind, threatened him with a silver knife and robbed him. The teenage suspects took the man’s iPhone 6, a Commes de Garcons leather wallet and $75 in cash.

► Unknown suspects stole a work van and $9,000 of equipment inside of it on the morning of August 11 as its owner was inside his synagogue praying. The 41-year-old man said he parked the E350 Ford van at Union Street and Kingston Avenue for about an hour while he prayed around 6:20 a.m. When he came back, the van and all of its equipment — including drills, alarms, wires and electrical tools — were gone.

► A 27-year-old delivery man was robbed of cash as he brought food to 1116 Carroll St. near Rogers Avenue on August 11. When the man entered the apartment building around 10 p.m., a man approached him, threatened him with a Taser and demanded he hand over any cash he was carrying. The victim gave him an unknown amount of cash and the suspect fled.
