FORT GREENE — The NYPD released grainy images of two suspects wanted in connection to a shooting that occurred last month near Habana Outpost and Greenlight Bookstore in Fort Greene.

Two people were shot at about 8 p.m. on May 4 after a fight broke out between two groups of people on the corner of Fulton Street and South Portland Avenue, police said. It is unclear what sparked the fight, according to police.

A 17-year-old man was hit in the right thigh and a 23-year-old female was grazed in the back, police said. Both were taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Police describe the first suspect, who is believed to be the shooter, as a 6-foot-2 man wearing gray sweatpants, a gray sweatshirt on his head and a white T-shirt.

The second suspect, who is wanted for questioning, is described as a man wearing all gray, with white sneakers and black laces, according to the NYPD.

Police said the first suspect got into a gray minivan going west on Fulton Street while the other went south on South Portland Avenue in a dark sedan after the shooting.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
