Here come the brides.

It's that time of year again — when hundreds of wedding couples descend upon DUMBO's cobblestone streets and industrial buildings, trailed by professional photographers snapping photos of posed kisses, whispers and embraces.

Wedding photographer Ellen Rashkovsky of Starlight Studioz said that DUMBO is one of the most sought-after spots for wedding and engagement shoots because it has the water, bridges, "Meatpacking District feel," and dynamic views of Manhattan in the distance.

"DUMBO is one of our most popular spots," she said. "It has the best of both worlds: being in Brooklyn and seeing Manhattan."

Local landmarks — like Jane's Carousel, Brooklyn Bridge Park and the popular nook on Main and Water streets, where the Empire State Building appears to fit perfectly inside one of the Manhattan Bridge's arches — have become popular backdrops for photographs.

DNAinfo New York rounded up a small sampling of photos shot in the neighborhood since the weather warmed.
