Man Stabbed to Death in Broad Daylight on Residential Queens Street: NYPD

QUEENS — An man was stabbed on a tree-lined, residential street in Cambria Heights Thursday afternoon, police said.

Officers responded to a call for help at 4:20 p.m. and found 40-year-old Dshawn Rodgers unconscious and unresponsive in front of a home at 116-15 230th Street with stab wounds to the torso, according to the NYPD.

Emergency workers rushed the victim to Jamaica Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police said Rodgers was homeless and have yet to make any arrests. The investigation into Rodgers' death is ongoing.
