FORT GREENE — A local family is searching for their snaggletooth poodle mix who went missing outside Macy's in Downtown Brooklyn.

The Egilmez family's nanny left Mirabelle, a small Shih-Poo, tied to a bike rack outside the store on Fulton Street while she went shopping with their 9-month-old daughter on March 23 around noon, they said.

When she returned, the 10-pound dog was gone and the family believes the pooch was stolen.

The nanny was later fired and Mirabelle is still missing.

Mirabelle is 2 years old and has a sensitive stomach for which she is given medication. She is mostly black with white spots on her chin and chest, has an overbite and was last seen wearing a harness with a colorful dog footprint pattern.

Matt Egilmez said the family loves Mirabelle's "snaggletooth."

"It made us laugh when we first got her," he said. "We thought it was so cute."

Egilmez said the family is heartbroken.

"We still have her bed and her food bowls out," he said. "It's been really hard on the whole family — we are really sad."

They started a Facebook page called FIND Mirabelle, wrote a Craigslist ad, posted signs throughout Downtown Brooklyn and Fort Greene and filed a police report with the 84th Precinct in hopes that someone will return their pup.

The NYPD did not immediately respond to request for comment.

They are offering a reward with no questions asked but would not specify the amount.
