DUMBO — The neighborhood that inspired countless murals and photo shoots has now inspired a beer.

Coney Island Brewing Company recently announced two new suds that pay tribute to Brooklyn neighborhoods DUMBO and Coney Island — the "Overpass IPA" and "1609."

Overpass was named for DUMBO and "recognizes the artists, musicians and renaissance souls that staked claim and built a community Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass," according to the company.

“We wanted to bottle the essence of Brooklyn in our beers,” said Mike Sheehan Coney Island Beer director in a statement. “With rich flavors, eclectic ingredients and a mix of both recognizable and subtle flavors, we hope people can really get a taste for the spirit of the borough.”

Their other beer, "1609" is named for Coney Island and references the year that explorer Henry Hudson first spotted the beach at Coney Island, according to the site.

Overpass IPA is made with two malts (Caramunich and Carapils) and five hops (Warrior, Cascade, Centennial, Citra and Nelson Sauvi) and tastes of "citrus and tropical hop aromas in a deep golden, richly aromatic IPA."

The beer's label, that was created by One Horse Town Illustration Studio in South Africa, shows an elephant wearing a top hat, scarf and sunglasses.

The image, that was originally based on the fable of Topsy the elephant who was allegedly electrocuted by Thomas Edison at Coney Island in 1903, and later meant to symbolize DUMBO, the company wrote on their website.
