NEW YORK — The city's public schools will be closed on Tuesday, as a blizzard blows into the five boroughs.
Mayor Bill de Blasio announced the closure on Monday afternoon, to give families time to prepare for the change. Regents exams that were scheduled for Tuesday will be canceled as well.
The blizzard is set to bring up to 2 feet of snow and winds gusting 55 mph or more.
