FORT GREENE — A new show at the Brooklyn Academy of Music will feature a trove of rare works from Andy Warhol, including black and white films, musicians and "erotic acts aplenty."

Fifteen shorts from the famed artist, recently unearthed from the archives at the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, will be screened at BAM and set to original music in the New York premier of "Exposed: Songs for Unseen Warhol Films."

The films, shot by Warhol on his 16 mm camera between 1963 and 1966, feature Edie Sedgwick, Allen Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac, Lou Reed and Warhol himself.

They include part of "a motionless eight-hour shot of the Empire State Building, a short of Lou Reed drinking a Coke, and erotic acts aplenty," according to BAM.

"What I liked was chunks of time all together, every real moment…I only wanted to find great people and let them be themselves…and I’d film them for a certain length of time and that would be the movie," Warhol wrote in his memoir "Popism: The Warhol Sixties."

The show includes scores composed by Dean Wareham of Luna, Dean & Britta, Tom Verlaine of Television, Martin Rev of Suicide, Bradford Cox of Deerhunter and Eleanor Friedberger of The Fiery Furnaces.

The music will be the backdrop to the films, which were shown for the first time in October in Pittsburgh at The Carnegie Music Hall and later at UCLA’s Center for the Art of Performance.

The films are part of BAM's 2014 Next Wave Festival and will be shown from Nov. 6 through 8 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be bought at BAM and cost from $25 to $55.
