FORT GREENE — A group of teen girls tossed a rock at a 28-year-old babysitter and spit on her on South Oxford Street, police said.
Police said the babysitter was walking toward Lafayette Avenue around 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 29 when she was approached by a group of girls.
One girl, who police believe is approximately 13 years old and 5-foot-4, 90 pounds, threw a rock at her face and hit her while another girl spit on her, police said.
The woman, whose name was not released, reported the incident to police.
It was not immediately clear how many girls were in the group and whether they said anything to the woman before the attack. No arrests had been made as of Friday evening, police said.
