NAVY YARD — A man's body was found floating in the East River near the Brooklyn Navy Yard at approximately 8:40 a.m. Thursday, according to the FDNY.
The 58-year-old man was found at Gee Avenue fully clothed and was declared dead at the scene, according to police.
The man has not been identified and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
Brooklyn Navy Yard officials referred all requests for comment to the NYPD.
