FORT GREENE — New German biergarten, Black Forest Brooklyn, is set to open its doors in early November.

The bar and eatery, located on Fulton Street at South Elliott Place, will serve authentic food and drink from the Black Forest region of Germany.

"This is a very personal project," said owner Tobias Holler who is opening the bar with his wife, Ayana. "We really miss our home and want to create the feeling of that region of the world here."

Holler added "We also want to share our love of German food and drink with the local community."

Holler, an architect by trade, met his wife — a filmmaker who once worked at Fort Greene beer garden Die Stammkneipe down the street — in Brooklyn, but both grew up in small towns in the Black Forest Region.

They call their new restaurant "a tribute to their love, to their Black Forest roots and their Brooklyn home."

The food and drink menu is not finalized but Holler guaranteed they would serve flammkuchen — a round flatbread served with crème fraîche, onions, bacon and herbs — that is authentic to their home. They will also sell a wide selection of German beers.

Black Forest will open in the first week of November with an official grand opening party on Nov. 14.
