BROOKLYN — A woman was struck and killed at the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center subway station Thursday afternoon, an FDNY spokesman said.

The unidentified straphanger was hurt about 12:30 p.m. and was declared dead at the scene, the spokesman said.

The incident caused several service changes to trains that run through that station, according to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.

The B trains were operating normally between Brighton Beach and Prospect Park in both directions, but bypassing Atlantic Avenue.

Northbound Q trains were running on the N line from Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue to DeKalb Avenue.

Southbound Q trains were bypassing the Atlantic Avenue station.

Passengers were advised to take the B3, B4, B6, B8, B9, B11 and B82 buses.

Commuters should also factor in extra travel time.

Specific details about how the deceased were not available.
