CLINTON HILL — Wallabout imbibers rejoice.

Grapeshot Wine & Spirits recently opened in the small historic district of northern Clinton Hill with an extensive selection of vino. And owner Diego Faccioli is happy to hand out some wisdom with each bottle sold.

"I am from a place that is all about wine and food," Faccioli, originally from Cremona, Italy, said. "My goal is to introduce indigenous grapes from all over the world to costumers and help them pair wine with food."

Faccioli also co-owns Williamsburg's restaurant PT and D.O.C. Wine Bar. His wife owns another wine shop in South Williamsburg. But the oenophile is happy to be setting up shop in Wallabout.

"The people here are very friendly," he said. "And they want to learn about new grapes from all over the world."

Grapeshot is officially open for business but check the shop's Facebook page for news about a grand opening party in September.

Grapeshot delivers wine Monday through Saturday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and is located at 64 Washington Ave. at Park Avenue.
