NEW YORK CITY — A New Jersey man died Monday night after his Harley Davidson crashed into an SUV near the foot of the Manhattan Bridge, cops said.
A 31-year-old woman was turning her 2007 Ford Edge from the Flatbush Avenue Extension of the bridge onto Tillary Street when Rashid Solis hit her passenger side door about 8 p.m., according to the NYPD.
Solis, 35, was rushed to the Brooklyn Hospital Center where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The Ford's driver and an adult woman who was also inside the car were taken to the hospital where they were treated for minor injuries.
