
NEW YORK CITY — A burglar tore a hole in the roof of a Edenwald wireless store to boost a bounty of prepaid cellphones, cops said.
The suspect cut a hole in the roof of the Laconia Wireless store at 4039 Laconia Ave. between 2:30 a.m. and 3:15 a.m. on March 7, cops said.
Once inside, the burglar, clad in a black Pittsburgh Pirates cap with a black and grey North Face jacket, snatched up several Virgin and Boost Mobile phones before fleeing the scene, cops said.
Cops said the suspect is about 5-foot-10 and between 25 and 35-years-old.
