Duo Attacks 70-Year-Old Woman Who Cut Them in Line at Store, NYPD Says

THE BRONX — Two people punched a 70-year-old woman in the face after she supposedly skipped ahead of them in a checkout line at a Norwood supermarket, the NYPD said.

The man and woman, who are each about 20, got into the argument with the elderly shopper after they thought she cut them at a Key Food on Jerome Avenue near West Gun Hill Road on Sept. 28 about 12:30 p.m., police said.

They each punched her in the face one time, the NYPD said.

The victim refused medical attention at the scene, police said.

The male suspect is about 6-foot-2 and 160 pounds, police said. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, all gray clothing and white sneakers, police said.

The female suspect is about 5-foot-4 and 160 pounds, police said. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black sweatpants and black sneakers, police said.
