MANHATTAN — An eyewitness in the trial of a Brooklyn man accused of stabbing a New Jersey resident after an early morning fight at a Midtown falafel cart recanted parts of his story in at trial Monday. [nypost.com]

Rapper Lil Wayne sentencing date was set Tuesday for Feb. 9. The rapper pleaded guilty in October to criminal possession of a weapon. [nypost.com]

A Philadelphia man has been charged with making terrorist threats against Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly. Jeffrey Fisher, 48, had been making 911 calls from Manhattan pay phones since May, police said. He was picked up on Dec. 11. [DNAinfo]
