Camille Bautista is a reporter/producer for DNAinfo New York covering Bedford-Stuyvesant.

A native New Yorker, Camille is a Queens girl at heart. She enjoys people, print, puppies, and alliteration.

Camille joined DNAinfo after working for ABC News Radio, where she helped cover everything from potholes in small cities to the death of Nelson Mandela.

Prior to her experience in radio, her work appeared in Bustle, Mashable, The Post-Standard, and The Queens Courier.

Camille has a B.A. in Media Studies from Hunter College and a master’s degree from Syracuse University.

FUN FACT: Camille owns an uncomfortable amount of Hello Kitty paraphernalia for a grown adult and questioned her life’s work when she discovered the character is in fact a person, not a cat.
