Signal problems at Grand Central Terminal disrupted 7 train service for hours Monday, officials said.
The 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, A, C, D, E, F, N, Q and S lines will all be impacted.
A smoke-filled station near Bryant Park snarled the 7 train, the MTA said.
Service will be suspended between Times Square and Queensboro Plaza for five weekends in Oct. and Nov.
A group of Queens advocates are pushing for safety improvements at a busy intersection in Sunnyside.
Starting this weekend, the number 7 train service will be spotty throughout the fall.
