CRIME BLOTTER: Woman Attacked With Her Own Kitchen Knives in Apartment

CLINTON HILL — A woman was attacked in her apartment Saturday by a stranger who pushed her to the ground and scratched her with kitchen knives, the NYPD said.

The woman said an unknown person entered her apartment and began to argue with her at 11:48 p.m. on Oct. 3. The attacker pushed her, causing her to fall to the ground, and proceeded to the kitchen where he picked up two knives, authorities said.

The man then scratched her on the chest and left hand with a knife, according to the NYPD.

Other recent crimes in the 88th precinct include:

► A teenage boy punched a 67-year-old stranger on the street last week, according to police. The victim was on Vanderbilt Avenue near Park Avenue at around 4:45 p.m. Sept. 29 when the young stranger approached him and punched him in the left temple, authorities said. The victim suffered a small laceration but refused medical attention, the NYPD said.

► A woman was arrested after trying to steal Dove deodorant, Muscle Milk, loungewear pants and Naked-brand drinks from the CVS at 218 Myrtle Ave. Sept. 30. She attacked a manager who tried to stop her, police said, injuring the employee's right hand.

► A man was struck in the head with a bottle by a woman at the Auburn Residence Sept. 30 at around 2 in the morning. The victim was trying to clear beds for a new client when the woman hit him, bruising the right side of his forehead. "I f*****d him up," she said, according to police.
