Ryan Zukus

Software Engineer Contact

Ryan Zukus is a Software Engineer at DNAinfo specializing in front-end development. He works with the design team to ensure that DNAinfo's readers have an aesthetically smooth and (mostly) bug-free experience.

Ryan got his start in web development at a small digital agency down on the Jersey Shore making and marketing custom websites for small-to-medium-sized local businesses. It was there that Ryan picked up his eye for design, as well as his habit of wandering into other departments to learn about different fields.

Ryan graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, Conn., with a Bachelor of Science in Physics, minoring in Biomechanics, and has his name on a small academic paper on the subject of modeling blood flow and pressure through the human and rabbit cardiovascular systems.

Fun Fact: Ryan was a stage actor and playwright for one of the college's amateur theater groups, culminating in landing the role of Romeo in a parody of the Shakespearean work. The school paper's review called his performance as a love-struck teenager "entirely too convincing."
