He hailed from north eastern part of India and studied MS in computer science from Jadavpur University.
Prior to joining DNAinfo he worked for a 3d printing Startup as a head backend developer. He also worked for companies like GE, Royal mail UK, Quest Diagnostics!
He is interested in php and node based frameworks and Drupal CMS. He is also an active member at Drupal.org
Fun fact: Bappa in his college days started a music band with his fellow class mates and the band is still exists and very popular in the college!
