Rosa Goldensohn

Rosa Goldensohn is a reporter/producer for DNAinfo New York covering Downtown Brooklyn, Fort Greene, Clinton Hill and DUMBO.

At CUNY’s Graduate School of Journalism, she received the Dennis Duggan Prize for coverage of “ordinary or disenfranchised New Yorkers” and the Sidney Hillman Foundation Award for Social Justice Reporting.  

Her thesis project at CUNY, backed by the Journalism Center on Children & Families and the Nation Institute’s Investigative Fund, was a finalist for awards from Investigative Reporters & Editors and the Society of Professional Journalists.

Her work has also appeared in The NationCity Limits, VICE and elsewhere.

She was raised in New Jersey and now lives in Brooklyn.

Fun fact: Rosie is allergic to two of her top priorities, cats and dairy products.
