Paul DeBenedetto is a the weekend editor for DNAinfo New York. Previously he covered Bedford-Stuyvesant.

Before coming to DNAinfo, Paul attended the City University of New York's Graduate School of Journalism, with a concentration in urban reporting. His work has appeared online for NBC New York; in print for City Limits Magazine, the Queens Courier and amNY; and on radio for WBAI.

Paul is a lifelong New Yorker born on Staten Island, where he attended Wagner College and studied computer science. After graduating, he worked at a brokerage firm for five years before quitting to become a journalist.

Fun Fact: Paul collects Christmas LPs. The crown jewel of his collection is a first pressing of "A Christmas Gift For You From Phil Spector."
