Patrick Wall

Patrick Wall is a DNAinfo reporter/producer covering the South Bronx.

As a freelance journalist, Patrick has written for many publications, including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Crain’s New York Business, City Limits and others.  He has also interned at The New York Times for the City Room blog, and at The Christian Science Monitor’s New York bureau.

Patrick earned a master’s degree from the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame.

Before he was a journalist, Patrick was a teacher.  He taught fourth grade for two years in the South Side of Chicago through the Teach For America program.

Originally from Ohio, Patrick now lives in Harlem.

Fun Fact: Patrick studied film in college.  After he appeared in one classmate’s film, he was never again asked to act in a movie.
