Heather Holland is a News Editor for DNAinfo New York. Previously, she had been a Reporter/Producer covering Murray Hill, Gramercy and Midtown East.

Before joining DNAinfo.com to cover Brooklyn, she could be found on the sidewalks of Stuyvesant Town as a reporter for Town & Village. There, she covered local issues such as crime, National Arts Club litigation, and Occupy Wall Street at Union Square.

Heather has previously worked for the research department at Crain’s New York Business, for the features department at the New York Post, and for the business desk at the New York Daily News.

She attended New York University, and graduated with a degree in Journalism.

FUN FACT: Barbie dolls were involved at the start of Heather's story-telling career. As a kid she would sit at her dining room table to write stories based on Veronica, the Barbie who shops.
