Reporter/Producer @efrost1 Contact

Emily Frost is a Reporter/Producer covering the Upper West Side.

She joined DNAinfo.com New York after graduating from the University of Southern California’s Annenberg Graduate School for Journalism, where she was an Annenberg Fellow and an executive producer and host at Annenberg Radio News.

While at Annenberg, Emily reported from Hong Kong and Delhi and assisted at public radio station KPCC, covering stories ranging from atomic physics to Indian adoption to the 20th anniversary of the Los Angeles riots.

Before moving to Los Angeles for graduate school, Emily lived in Fort Greene, and worked at the online parenting magazine Babble.com, as well as interning at WNYC.

She also served as a post-production assistant for the award-winning documentary Summer Pasture, about a nomadic family in rural Tibet.

As a freelance writer, Emily has also been published in The Washington Post, KCET.com, Global Post, LA Weekly, Marketplace.org, and aired work on KQED and KPCC.

Fun Fact: Emily's early dreams of being a movie star were realized at age 7, when she appeared in the background of a local TV program examining her father's notoriety as one of Massachusetts' best "grill masters."
