Caroline Spivack is a reporter/producer, covering Park Slope, Gowanus and Windsor Terrace.

Before joining DNAinfo New York, Caroline worked at the Brooklyn Paper and the Courier Life newspapers, where she covered Sunset Park, Bay Ridge, Bensonhurst and Coney Island.

Her work has appeared in City Limits magazine, Discover Magazine and on Women’s eNews.

Caroline is a native Brooklynite who grew up in Cobble Hill and lives in Bay Ridge. She earned her master’s degree from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism, and prior to that she studied English at Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts.

Fun fact: Caroline swam with alligators once in a Mississippi bayou. Though thrilling, for obvious reasons, she has not made it a habit.
