HELL'S KITCHEN — He should have ordered a side of Novocaine.
A diner suffered permanent injuries after he bit into a taco with a stone inside at a West 47th Street cocktail bar, a new lawsuit charges.
Hell’s Kitchen resident Neal Lerner ordered the cauliflower tacos at Dutch Fred’s, at 307 W. 47th St., in February, according to a lawsuit he filed against the bar in Manhattan Supreme Court last week.
But when he went to take a bite, he “unexpectedly bit down on a hard foreign object, to wit a stone, which had been concealed within the aforementioned cauliflower tacos,” the suit claims.
Chomping down on the rock left Lerner with “serious, severe and permanent injuries, and damage” according to the suit.
Since the incident, the patron has racked up medical bills and continues “to suffer great physical pain and mental anguish,” the suit added.
The bar — whose menu includes $14 “Roasted Sriracha Cauliflower Tacos” featuring cilantro aioli and jicama radish — should have checked its tacos for “dangerous foreign objects” before it served them, the suit adds.
Lerner is seeking unspecified damages, along with the costs of suit.
Neither his attorney nor Dutch Fred’s immediately responded to requests for comment Tuesday.
