EAST ELMHURST — A man was fatally shot in the head in the backyard of a 95th Street home Thursday night, police said.
The man, identified by police days later as Karron Alston, 25, of 96th Street, was shot in the head and back and found about 9:50 p.m. behind 31-39 95th St., NYPD officials said.
The victim died at Elmhurst Hospital, police said.
The circumstances and motive for the shooting weren't immediately clear.
Police are still investigating, they said.
