UPPER EAST SIDE — A pair of women teamed up to steal a $13,000 watch and $3,000 in cash from a 79-year-old man who invited them to back his hotel after meeting them at a swanky cigar bar, police said.

The victim met the two suspects at Club Macanudo, at 26 E. 63rd St., on May 8 and invited them back to his room at the Lowes Regency Hotel at 540 Park Ave. around 8:30 p.m., police said.

That's when the two women robbed him of his $13,000 watch and $3,000 in cash, leaving scratches on his face during the theft, according to police.

Police released video surveillance on Tuesday that shows the women waiting for an elevator.

Both suspects were described as 25 to 30 years old with long black hair. The first suspect stands roughly 5-foot-8 and was last seen wearing a light-colored dress, while the second stands 5-foot-5 and was wearing a green top, a green skirt, a purse and large hoop earrings, police said..

The incident comes amid a string of thefts in which men in clubs were targeted for their pricey timepieces.

Earlier this month, a woman met a man at the West 17th nightclub 1Oak and ran off with his $12,000 Rolex, a $30,000 Gérald Genta watch, his credit card and $2,500 in cash, police said.

Last month, another woman stole $50,000 of jewelry, including a wedding ring and a Rolex, from a man who brought her home after meeting her an hour earlier.

On June 4, police released surveillance footage of a woman accused of stealing $70,000 worth of jewelry from a man — including his Rolex watch — after meeting him at 1Oak.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
