QUEENS — Two men were shot, one fatally, on a Far Rockaway street corner early Friday, police said.
Kamir Shine, 28, of Arverne, was found shot in the chest and hip on the corner of Beach Channel Drive and Hassock Street at around 1:20 a.m. Friday, police said.
He was taken to St. John's Episcopal Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Officers were also told by the Nassau County Police Department of a man found shot in the chest in front of 385 Bayview Ave. in Inwood, blocks from the Far Rockaway shooting.
He was taken to Jamaica Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
Police determined he was also shot on Hassock Street with Shine, according to the NYPD. Officers are still investigating the shooting.
